The Certified Home Health Aides at All Care VNA play an integral part of your care. Under the direct supervision of the your nurse or therapist, the home health aide assists you with various tasks in your daily lives.

Certified Home Health Aides...

• aide their clients with dressing and undressing

• assist their clients with bathing or showering, and other matters of personal hygiene

• prepare meals for the clients under specific nutritional guidelines

• change the bed linens

• move their clients from bed to chair, and help with walking exercises from room to room

• help their clients to utilize household equipment geared towards disabilities

• perform other light household chores such as dusting or vacuuming

• support their clients with prescribed exercises

• assist client in following medical recommendations such as bed rest, increased physical activity, or in assuming more responsibility for self care
